Andong Zzimdak @ Raffles City

The ever popular Andong Zzimdak from Korea has finally hit the shore of Singapore. The first outlet at Raffles City, fans of Jjimdaks do not need to fly over to Korea to have that huge plate of Korean soy sauce chicken.

 What is Jjimdak?

According to Andong, its a variety of jjim (steamed or boil dish) made with chicken and marinated vegetables.

So what did we have ?

Seafood pancake 4Hands

Unlike seafood pancakes served in other Korean restaurants, Andong Zzimdak dishes out in small circles, using a in house blend mayo as a compliment instead of the normal soy sauce. Good thickeness and well balanced.

Karaage Chicken 3Hands

Well, fried chuncks of boneless chicken.

Seafood Jjimdak 4Hands

A spicy blend of jjimdak sauce with seafood and chicken, mussels, and lots of vegetables. LIked that never ending sweet potato noodles. This brought back memories of Korea.

Spicy Topokki 3Hands

Very good plate of topokki, but Andong's version was so spicy. My mouth were on fire but still chewing on those long sticks.

overallreview: shauneeie4hands. If you have a Jjimdak craving, this is the place to be. Specalising in only Jjimdak, you can choose between chicken, seafood or boneless chicken. Add on some sides and your in for a good time.
